Jay County Christian Academy Recognized for Literacy Achievement
      Jay County Christian Academy was recently honored by the Indiana Department of Education for its outstanding literacy performance. The school achieved a 95% or higher passage rate on the 2025 Indiana Reading Evaluation and Determination (IREAD) assessment, earning recognition during the Literacy Achievement Celebration at the Indiana Statehouse on April 8, 2026.
       State Representative J.D. Prescott commended both Jay County Christian Academy and Randolph Southern Elementary School for their commitment to student success.
"Randolph Southern Elementary School and Jay County Christian Academy earned this recognition through their consistent dedication and hard work," Prescott said. "I appreciate the educators, students, and families whose efforts made this achievement possible and who continue to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed."

Jay County Christian Academy is excited to offer a yearbook to celebrate the 2025–2026 school year!  For just $10, you can purchase a special keepsake capturing your child’s memories at Jay County Christian Academy.

All orders must be placed by April 24th.  Yearbooks will be available for pick-up at the school before the end of the school year.

Muffins with Mom – New Date! 
Join us for a special morning at Muffins with Mom on Wednesday, May 6 from 9:30–10:30 AM.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students and their moms (or mother figures) to spend time together at school while enjoying delicious muffins  and great conversation.

Please note that this event has been moved to a new date, so be sure to mark your calendars!  We look forward to welcoming families for a sweet and memorable morning together.

We are excited to share that several of our students have artwork currently on display at the Arts Place in Portland! Their creativity and hard work were recognized, and selected projects are being exhibited for the community to enjoy.
